My path crossed with Keith many years ago. Keith saw something
within me that I could not see myself. While I did not
have faith
and confidence in my abilities, Keith did. He gently nudged and guided
me to step out of my comfort zone and spread my wings. He helped me 'find my
voice', build my confidence, and strengthen my leadership.
One of Keith's greatest skills is believing in others
and striving them to reach their potential. I have worked
along side him in many leadership roles within Toastmasters.
It was an honor and privilege to work with him when he
was District Governor. His passion, commitment, and drive
were amazing. I then I the great honor of working with
him with Twin Cities RISE! For many years he has been organizing
many people within Toastmasters to lend their support to
this great organization. He is very committed to this organization.
He works
tirelessly to ensure the men and women get the coaching needed to reach their
potential. He is their main 'cheerleader', cheering them on to their success
and graduation of the program.
Keith leads by example, and continuously strives for excellence.
He would be a great asset to the St. Paul School District.
His drive, commitment, and satchel of skills will ensure
that he will get the job
done! You could not ask for a better role model and leader for the St. Paul
School District.
"Keith is a very compassionate person. He is genuine
and caring. I know him as a consistent supporter of the
Susan G Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure and numerous
other causes. He was selected as one of the Eleven Who
Care (KARE 11) volunteer recognitions. Keith is committed
and focused on what he believes in and has relentless energy.
He would be an excellent addition to the school board."

"I have known Keith for several years. His philanthropic
spirit and dedication makes him a perfect candidate for
the St. Paul Board of Education. I have never known Keith
to fall back on anything he has started -- he is truly
a dedicated and hard-working individual for every cause
he has ever been involved with."

“ I
am supporting Keith Hardy for school board because I have
found him to be energetic, imaginative and dependable.
In the DFL activities in which I have worked with him,
I
know he can be counted on to get the job done, and I
believe he will bring this same responsibility to the table
when
he serves as a board member of the St. Paul Public Schools.”
- Jan Willms, parent, counselor, writer, human rights
activist, political activist
------------------------------------------------------------------
-“I highly recommend Mr Hardy as a candidate for
the school board. He is very informed on all politics
and is
very active in the community. I was very impressed with
his ability to connect with people when we were doorknocking
and distributing literature for the DFL this past fall.”
- Maggie Doran, Executive Director, Ben Doran Foundation
-------------------------------------------------------------------
“I feel Keith Hardy would be good for the St. Paul
school district. I have seen Keith recruit and organize
communication classes for Twin Cities RISE! (TCR!), which
is an organization that helps disadvantaged people find
and keep professional jobs. He has not done this on one
occasion as many of us are likely to do, but has helped
nearly every time TCR! has a new class, which is several
times a year. He works tirelessly at other volunteer
organizations such as Toastmasters and the DFL.
- Daniel R Grundtner, Ward 5, northwest Como neighborhood
-------------------------------------------------------------------
“Keith would work very hard for public education in
St. Paul as I have seen him work hard in other organizations.
He has great enthusiasm and energy for whatever he does.
I support Keith Hardy for the St. Paul Board of Education!”
- Steve Law, St. Paul parent

“We need more people on our school boards who exhibit
the passion and understanding for educating all of our children.
Keith Hardy is one of the few people I know who is willing
to lead the charge, has the passion for kids & the
drive to make a difference.
- Pat Croal, Windom Community Council, Minneapolis

Keith Hardy is amazingly efficient with his time and
incredibly
dependable with his promises. His friends—and I am
one of them—wonder
when he sleeps. Keith is an ultimate volunteer and has
a strong network
of friends. This network provides volunteers who he can
call on to help
with large projects (because he has come through for
them several times
over in the past).
Keith is always striving for excellence and promotes it
by example. I
know Keith best in the context of Toastmasters. Members
of many clubs
around the metro area look to him as a teacher and model
as we try to
find and then exceed our personal best.
When Keith commits to a cause, his zeal for that cause
is intense. He is
great with crowds and individuals—has good people
skills. He is a quick
study, and while studying he is careful to say what he
means and to
indicate if he feels he needs more information before commenting.
His
discretion is impeccable.
